Billie Roe

Billie has taught both acting and voice on the University/college level.  Her approach in training the artist for the cabaret stage is unique in that she incorporates her experience as a singer and her training as a method actress to assist her  students toward creating a personalized authentic performance.

Ms. Roe holds a BFA in Acting from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, and a MFA in Theatre (Playwriting/Acting) from the Actors Studio Drama School, New School University, NY.  She  won the 2017 MAC AWARD for "Best Musical Comedy Performer" and the 2014 MAC Award for 'Best Female Vocalist'  as well as two NY Bistro Awards (critics awards) in recognition of her cabaret artistry as a performer and  writer.
